Chapter-8 Phuket Adventura(Part 1)-The Land Where Giant Birds Rest

After a long, gruesome and tiresome wait, Chapter 8 is finally in the house!

I'm your one and only host, Pandemica!

Sorry for the long wait guys, as you can see(or not), I'm kinda busy lately so I 've got this one big word for you guys:

Sorry.

.......

Well, "Sorry" is a big word, ya' know!

Anyways, Chapter 8(which consists of several parts)is mainly about my recent trip to Phuket, Thailand.

What you are about to see is 100% recorded by me. Exclusively for THIS blog. Trust me, you can't find this video anywhere else( so don't waste your time looking it on Youtube).

Feeling excited?

Let's not wait anymore, shall we?

*****************************************
On 7th June 2009, a new history was made.

Well, sort of.

But for me and my family, it's indeed a vacation we MIGHT not forget.

It's the day we fly north, to Phuket!

As you can see from the vid,
that's the candy shop in the LCCT( Low Cost Carrier Terminal for short) right after we checked in. Yep, that's free food so EAT AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE BEFORE DEPARTING.

Seriously.

This is the waiting terminal, or lounge. Sorry for the shaky footage as I'm recording while carrying two heavy luggage. If you feel nausea, just skip to the next video.

The most glorious moment of this trip!

Haha, just kidding.

Wonder why no one took any videos or photos of this moment, except me. Hmmm......

Entering the Red Phoenix.
Holy Schmoly! Look at how tight this plane is!

Anyways, it looks like we manage to board the plane.

That's pretty much it for part-1.

Stay tuned for part-2 of our Phuket Adventura(part 2)- In The Sky!

I'm gonna go check my seat, so smell you guys later!

Chapter-7 Piano Trauma

Howdy folks!

Pandemica here.

Sorry for taking you guys so long for this chapter.

As you can see, I just came back from my vacation at Phuket, Thailand two days ago.

AND I AM TIRED AS HELL.

why?

'Cause yesterday, my buddies ( nicknamed Choco-Head and An to the power of two) dragged me along for the 1st Asia Grand Piano Concert held at KLCC.

Till almost midnight.

It’s the first time a piano concert on such a grand scale is being organised in the country.

Who's performing?

136 pianists from Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia and of course Malaysia.

And guess what?

The Agong and the queen (Ampun Tuanku) actually came, along with Dr.M and the rest of the VVIPs.

Holy Schmoly.

The concert is an initiative of the Persatuan Chopin (Don't laugh), a non-profit organisation, and the Korean Piano Society to promote both cultural and musical exchanges between Malaysia and Korea.

Think it's something a music freak can't miss?

NOT.

Don't get me wrong, I love piano music but it's just TOO LONG AND REPETITIVE.

In fact, none of the pieces(which I only knew a few) actually make me sit up straight and say," This is good!".

Well, it was not a complete waste of time ( someone might wanna hit me right now) as there are some in-concert humours.

Anyways, kudos to all the fellow pianists who took part. Good Job!

Your skills are admirable but the pieces chosen (by the music director, no doubt) are horrible.

Here's a couple of pictures of the event.

The fellow pianists

The tickets for both the Junior Concert and the Gala Concert.

I'm really sorry there are no recorded videos as I'm only following the law ( Photographing and video recording during the concert are strictly prohibited!)

Well, that basically concludes Chapter 7.

Till then, Ciao!

P/s:
For those who are eagerly waiting to see my pictures and vids of my Phuket trip, stay tuned for Chapter 8. It's gonna be a BLAST! ( as soon as I charged my camera)

Why old, you asked?

Well, it's one of my old, finished projects that I didn't upload it on Youtube.

So I decided to take it out of hibernation to show it to you guys.

Chapter-6 CLIOD

Wassup all! Pandemica here.

Welcome to Chapter 6!

Yeah, I know what you guys are thinking.

What on earth is CLIOD?

For those who didn't know, CLIOD stands for Coconut, Lemon, Ita, Orange and Dew...

Okay I was just kidding.
CLIOD really stands for College Life In One Day.

It's an event organized by Taylor's University College.
You get to be a college student(not really) for one day.
I got dragged along by my buddies to join this(thing?)

The only good thing is that it's free of charge. End of line.

Okay, enough with THE pros, now on to some cons!

Well maybe not cons but something that might interest y'all.

Firstly, the washroom at Taylor's Business School is called as the Relief Point (Hmm..I wonder why?).

At one point, the host (which happens to be Taylor's Program Director) actually said something about her students on a trip to visit those with Down's Syndrome but the way she said it makes us thought that her students ARE the ones that have Down's Syndrome. LOL

A talk on plagiarism for two hours? NO FRIGGIN' WAY

The worst thing about this day trip is that most of the time spent is in a classroom, which the air-con is SOOOOO cold that believe it or not, I nearly got Hypotermia!!!!

Overall, it's not half bad. There is the Young Entrepreneur's Day ( YED for short) that keeps us busy running around doing some useless market research(what?). YED is something like a carnival that business students use what they learn to earn some paper.

And guess what?

Me and my buddies got scammed( or in better terms, seduced) by a bunch of girls selling toast for charity.

RM3 for one toast? You've gotta be shitting me.

That basically concludes my day at Taylor's.

If you are someone that has no life, enjoy getting free goody bags, hearing people sharing their past (which I seriously don't give a damn) or getting your blood frozen, CLIOD is your cup of tea.

For those who doesn't, you can just stay home and do what YOU usually does, like reading blogs and so on.

That's it for this chapter, folks!

C'ya all in chapter sevennnnzz

P/s:
If you don't know what an "Ita" is, "Ita" is derived from the fruit named Ita Palm Fruit.
Do you know that Ita Palm Fruit is one of the few fruits in the world that actually starts with the alphabet " I" . Try listing another ( one is enough) fruit that starts with " i ". I bet you can't ^^

Anyways, here is a pic of the fruit. Enjoy! **Taylor please don't sue me!!

Chapter-5 Teachers' Day Parody

Hola, amigos!

Welcome to Chapter 5!

Last Friday was my school's teachers' day.

And guess what?

I WENT. AND IT WAS HORRIFIC.

Since it's teachers' day, we as students get to enjoy seeing teachers get humiliated, tortured and be sent to the hospital.

It's true.

One teacher( which I heard was pregnant) actually fell down on the floor and started shaking vigorously. The funny thing is at that moment, some retarded teachers were still enjoying karaoke on stage. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THEM?

I bet they wouldn't care if one of the teachers actually died on the day they celebrated their hard work. How ironic is that?

The teacher was having a fit due to some unknown reasons. She can walk in the end, but i have to pity a Malay girl that got her finger squeezed by the teacher throughout the entire ordeal.

She got sent to the hospital along with the teacher.

Her finger was this colour

Anyways, me and a couple of buddies played Boggles (Did I spelled it right?) and can't help ourselves from laughing at some Malay fellas shuffling horribly on stage (which I think they are pretty proud of).

The funniest part was they were still dancing when the school bell rang. Everyone actually just don't give a shit and ran to the school gates. The look on their faces was PRICELESSLY DISAPPOINTING .

ROFL.

Lastly, I would like to wish all the teachers out here a Happy Teachers' Day with this short poem I made.

Teachers,
I know you still get paid,
But unfortunately, you don't get a raise;
Maybe because of your stubborn face,
That left us students in a a daze.

So please,
Do your duty right,
'cause I know you don't wanna get fried(fired),
As long as you do it with pride,
Your name will always be bright.

Happy Teachers' Day!

That's preetty much it for this chapter. Thanks for dropping by and Stay tuned for more up coming chapters! There is a CBOX beside so feel free to leave me a comment or two.

Till then, Pandemica says,"Enjoy the hols! Ciao!"

P/s:
The poem above is made purely for fun. I apologize in advance if it actually hurt anyone's feelings(which I highly doubt that). XD

Chapter-4 Rules Of Thumb

Hey guys, Pandemica here.

WARNING:
The post below might make no sense to some people. If you feel like whacking yourself with a hammer or stucking your head in a toilet bowl due to your low intelligence, please feel free to do so.

I won't mind XD

Recently, I tend to use the phrase " Rules of Thumb" to represent my own sets of rules when it comes to using tech stuffs that require your fingers.

(At this point, you can start looking for a hammer if you think you are kinda dumb)

Well, I never really know what it meant, but I am sure I didn't make it up.

I knew I heard it somewhere but I couldn't remember...

Anyways, I was dead bored just now and remembered this phrase.
I said to myself,"Hey,Isn't there a website called Wikipedia which explains loads of crap?"

I considered this phrase as crap and typed it in the search bar.

And guess what came out.

Rule Of Thumb
A rule of thumb is a principle with broad application that is not intended to be strictly accurate or reliable for every situation. It is an easily learned and easily applied procedure for approximately calculating or recalling some value, or for making some determination. Compare this to heuristic, a similar concept used in mathematical discourse, psychology and computer science, particularly in algorithm design. See also mnemonic.

(Those of you that have found the hammer can start whacking yourself)

I was like,"What the?!"

Mathematical discourse, psychology, computer science?

WICKED COOL.

Anyway, that's pretty much it for this chapter. I guess I won't be simply using terms I just heard like that ever again.

Well, cheerio!

P/s: I assume those who actually follow what I said like whacking yourself with a hammer, are probably all dead due to severe head concussions. Lastly, kudos to those smartasses that didn't follow.

As a reward, you guys get to read my next chapter! WOOHOO!

Chapter-3 Boredom Kills

Yes, its me again...welcome back for another chapter!

First off:

This Week Is:

1. boring

2. causing everyone to get sick

3. so boring that there are people willing
to spend time reading this blog

4. stunting my growth

5. extremely boring due to SABS (Severe Acute Boredom Syndrome)

Alright, enough of the disease I came up with.
But the truth is I am not lying: IT IS DAMN BORING

Me and my buddy came to school today, only to find out that we are two of the four boys that actually came to school.

Sucked.Once.

Then, 70% of my class( which consists around 20 students) went for an elective exam, including my buddy, leaving me to face a dumb wall for an hour and fifteen minutes. Teachers are slacking and the rest that didn't go for the test are wasting away just like me.

Sucked.Twice.

I actually felt asleep for a few seconds. I tried to get back to sleep but failed.

Sucked. Thrice.

There you go, whole week of useless boredness. I only just showed you one day of this week and it is already boring as hell. Good grief.

Well, that's it for this time. Thanks for tuning in and the next chapter will be up soon.

I'm your bored host, Pandemica.

Bye and get outta here =)

WARNING:
Reading this blog may not protect against SABS'. If you experience explosive diarrhea, fatigue, vomiting, the urge to read more blogs, or even death, contact your doctor NOW!!!!

You may have infected with the Severe Acute Boredom Syndrome.
